Dialysis Center
Avcılar Hospital Dialysis Center provides service in our new service building with a total of 20 Fresenius brand dialysis devices, 17 of which are normal, 1 HCV (+), 1 HBs (+) and 1 spare device.
Hemodialysis is based on the principle of cleaning the blood from harmful substances by separating the blood of the patient and the dialysis solution of harmful substances accumulated in the body by a semi-permeable membrane in kidney failures, which often occur as a complication of high blood pressure and diabetes.
The synthetic membrane used in our dialysis center is sterilized by steam and the risk of allergy is low, and the harmful substances in the body are safely and efficiently removed with the applied bicarbonate dialysis solutions.
Our dialysis team consists of specialist physician, responsible physician, internal medicine specialist (monthly checkup), dialysis nurses, psychiatry specialist, dietitian, technician and auxiliary personnel who have received dialysis training.
Personalized food and beverages prepared by our dietitian are supplied from our hospital kitchen.
Our dialysis center serves the Pension Fund, Bağ-Kur, SSK and private dialysis patients in Avcılar, Küçükçekmece, Büyükçekmece, Başakşehir, Bahçeşehir regions, and their transportation to our hospital is provided by our shuttle vehicles.
